Well, that's it. It's done, the cast is ecstatic at our results and on Thursday we open. The final day crew for The Perfect Stage Crew TV Show (Otto, Piper, John and Catie) finished the last of the details on the cyc, painted the "procenium," touched up the light cues and finished their video diaries. The director asked for a shorter moment on Harry at the conclusion of the play, so Otto jumped upstairs (up the ladder) and adjusted the timing of Abby's cue. Watch for the final shot on your DVD, you'll notice a quicker fade on the center chair. Speaking of DVD's, the PSC is providing all cast and crew with a DVD of the play. It will be sent to you when you send in your mailing address, and after you complete your contracts. The PSC TV Show will take longer. We passed out comp tickets to the crew and to the folks we met along the way (BJ, the staff at Lucia's). We had dinner at BOP, Baltimore's Original Pizza, which took a bit of finding since Mr. K. had the address wrong. Then it was back to the theater to put away the paints and set up five (count 'em) video cameras for the video shoot. Mr. K. spent a couple of moments looking at the original set sketches and comparing them to the finished set, and he snapped a lot of pictures. He did not complete his final video diary, perhaps saving it for a quiet moment after the show opens. The rehearsal shoot went pretty smoothly, if we missed a shot we'll drag up a couple of cameras during a brush-up in a week or two. The first review should be out a week from Wednesday. We'll post a link here at the website no matter what it says. A personal note to the crew (to both crews)... Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's been everything I expected and hoped for, and more. See you (backstage)... Mr. K.
