Day 7

One week in and the PSC is pretty much on schedule. We had a great day in Baltimore, after avoiding a huge backup on 95 (coming home too, imagine that!), and spent the morning covering the flats for the show - a recalcitrant air nailer slowed us down a tiny bit. For lunch we boarded the Seaport Taxi and floated on over to the Inner Harbor. Abby, Jesse, Kevin, John, Ivy, Chris, Piper, Otto, Zack and Mr. K footed up the hill to a famous rib shack on Utah St. called Pavel's. A little disoriented we ended up on Eutaw Street at Powell's, that's Boog Powell's, inside Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The crew was treated to classic American baseball fare for lunch, including peanuts, pretzels, and Boog's famous pulled pork sandwiches. At the end of the second inning Mr. K called attention to the centerfield scoreboard, which in turn called attention right back onto The Perfect Stage Crew. Piper missed the whole thing and had to watch it on video. After a few innings the PSC mosied back to Fell's Point, cleaned the lenses on the stage lights, reset the set pieces previously moved, and met the cast. We gave them all real Waldman Hats, which don't exist, so they got "Waldman Hats" T-shirts. Then the crew got to watch a little bit of the show they've spent the last week working on. With about five days to crunch time we're in pretty good shape.

M - F is 9 to 5, traffic permitting.

Mr. K.
