The PSC's Lighting Designer for Partners is fresh off four years of the Blair High School stage crew and excited about spending her bright summer days in a darkened theatre once more. In addition to serving time as the Blair crew's treasurer, secretary, and vice president (though not all at once), Abby logged hours on nine major Blair productions, designing the lights for The Rivals, West Side Story, and Pericles and stage managing the 2004 spring musical, The Merry Widow. She also twiddled away as a master electrician for Wildwood Summer Theatre's production of Chicago last summer and recently wrapped up work on WST's latest show, Sweeney Todd. When not doing stage crew, Abby does more stage crew, volunteering at Silver Spring Stage, where she lent a hand on A Streetcar Named Desire, A Perfect Ganesh, and the 2002 summer one-act festival. Next year, Abby will be unseen behind-the-scenes at Swarthmore College, where she will undoubtedly learn that she still knows nothing about theatre.
